Gokuleshwor Agriculture and Animal Science College (GAASC) was established in 2067 BS with the objective of providing technical education to students in remote areas of Nepal and modernizing the agricultural sector. Affiliated with Tribhuvan University's Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) in Rampur, Chitwan, GAASC aims to make Nepalese farmers self-reliant by introducing innovative tools, techniques, and methodologies in agriculture.
Location and Infrastructure
GAASC is situated in the scenic Gokuleshwor of Baitadi District, in the far-western part of Nepal. Nestled in a picturesque valley on the banks of the Chameliya River, the college enjoys a tranquil environment. The college is located at an altitude of approximately 800 meters above sea level. Although it currently operates from the premises of Shree Setigaun Higher Secondary School Kakarpakha Gokuleshwor, Baitadi, GAASC is actively working towards constructing its own infrastructure.
